Baltimore Youth Arts invites the public to the unveiling of original artwork created by our Summer Studio Apprentices in partnership with the National Aquarium's Harbor Wetland exhibit. This free event takes place on the Harbor Wetland, an outdoor installation that is always free and open to the public.

This spring and summer, 31 apprentices ages 14–25, worked directly with Aquarium conservationists and educators to envision what a healthy Inner Harbor could look like in 25, 50, and 100 years. Along the way, they studied the science and history behind harbor restoration, building professional skills and gaining exposure to Baltimore's wider creative and civic sectors.

The result is a body of artwork that adds a visual and interpretive layer to one of Baltimore's most significant environmental restoration efforts, bridging scientific insight and youth imagination.

Join us on October 10th to see the finished artwork, participate in a printmaking activity led by senior apprentices highlighting the project's creative process, and hear directly from the youth artists about their inspiration and research. Come celebrate creativity, mentorship, and Baltimore's future.

Free and open to the public, rain or shine (barring extreme inclement weather). No registration required.
